Do you believe in setting yourself New Year’s resolutions? Do you stick to them or are they long forgotten about by the end of January? I’ve been asking colleagues, friends and family and the general consensus seems to be that most resolutions revolve around being healthier, losing weight, saving money, stopping smoking and drinking less.
My personal favourites from the resolutions I have heard were making more effort to keep in touch with friends and family, taking more photographs and of course the favourite here at Airport Lynx – travelling more!
Through research I have found that the most common reason for people failing to achieve their new year’s resolutions is that they are unrealistic so they are destined to fail from the start. It seems that people who set small, achievable goals are more focused on the end result and are therefore more likely to succeed.
