Cambridge FoodPark

I’m sure I’m the last to know of it, but I’ve discovered the Cambridge FoodPark. If you haven’t already experienced it, it’s a collective of top quality local street food traders, parking up to satisfy cravings across the city of Cambridge. I turned up on a wet and cold Thursday lunchtime, to the one at Cambridge Science Park.

I was astounded to see how many die hards had turned out despite the weather!!

There were some great food options – Steak and Honour, The Wandering Yak, Kura Kura, Guerilla Kitchen and Holy Schnitzels.

Things to know:

The FoodPark operates as a collective and work in three different places across Cambridge throughout the week – on a Wednesday you’ll find them on the West Cambridge Site – at Charles Babbage Road. On a Thursday you’ll find them at the Cambridge Science Park – and on a Friday, they congregate at CB1 which is Mill Park, just off Station Road.

  • Take cash – cards don’t seem to be accepted.
  • Wear comfy shoes and a warm coat – you’ll spend your time outdoors and could be waiting around whilst your food is cooked to order.
  • Go hungry – the portions are generous!

Which would be your first choice?
